Before you start planning to take any CLEP exams, make sure that they're even available where you are. A bunch of testing centers are still closed and will continue to be closed indefinitely Does Clep fall under ACE limit of 90?
Yes, CLEP is ACE. The limit at TESU is 90 credits from sources that are not colleges and universities. This includes ACE, NCCRS, CLEP, DSST.

Also for Calculus I, you can do the Uexcel through Excelsior College and that is $110 plus proctoring/testing center fee, that is the cheapest RA option, especially if you can self study or are already familiar with calculus.
Thomas Edison State University:
BA in Computer Science - Currently Pursuing (114/120 Credits)
ASNSM in Computer Science - Graduated 6/5/2020

they'll just renew and get "recertified" for another 4 years
this happens all the time

Westcott is a good option if you're not going through the community college or StraighterLine route, although it's a bit more expensive, it would be an option to get RA credits as they transfer in through Brandman transcript because of their affiliation or partnership... Westcott has some other math courses as well, not just Calculus II...

Westcott has Calc II, but TESU doesn't take it I don't think.

It is up to ACE whether or not a course is actually approved. However, if a course has already been approved then it's nearly guaranteed to be renewed if the provider wants to renew it.
