Thanks to this information and support of the members on this site I graduated with my BSBA from TESC in June of this year.
I also have 15 years of experience in IT. In May I applied to Georgia Tech's relatively new MS CS "Massive Open Online Course" (MOOC), which by the way is neither massive nor open, and this week I received acceptance :hurray: to the program for the Spring 2015 semester. The total program cost is estimated at just under $7,000 total.

I had been planning to start a Master of Science in Project Management at Missouri State in January but with the opportunity to earn a CompSci Masters from a top 10 engineering school for ~7K it's just too good to pass up.
By the way, I've seen some old posts on here talking about the degree program being the "Online MS in Computer Science" and while that is what they call the program the website indicates that the actual diploma will read "Master of Science Computer Science" without any "online" distinction.
Quote:How will this degree appear on my diploma and/or transcript?
The name "Online Master of Science" is an informal designation to help both Georgia Tech and prospective students distinguish the delivery method of the OMS program from our on-campus degree. The degree name in both cases is Master of Science in Computer Science.

Congratulations! Even though you're right that it's not really based on MOOCs, it's still generated a lot of attention from MOOC watchers, and I hope you'll keep us updated about your experience with the program.

This looks like a really good program. You actually have me questioning where I want to pursue my masters now. I was originally planning on an Information Tech degree from HES, but this looks pretty comparable at a third of the cost lol.
I'm a 19 year old, Software Engineer, who is enrolled at TESC for a B.A. in Computer Science. My bachelors coursework is completed and I am waiting for graduation to roll around. Will start pursuing ALM in Information Technology with a concentration in Software Engineering from Harvard Extension School sometime in the coming year.
