Great Job, Cod Face!
How'd you do it? Do you also have a job. What gives? A few suggestions to the rest of us, please.

I appreciate all the congrats from everybody! In regards to P00057870's post, I was laid off from my manufacturing job in Feb. Very bummed out about that, but day after day of looking for work on job boards and seeing "4 year degree required" kinda hammered home the fact that a degree would be VERY helpful in today's economy.
Could I have done all those tests, and passed, if I was still working? Maybe, but it sure would have been a lot harder finding the time to study as much, schedule the tests, ect.
The only good thing about getting laid off this time (I've been in manufacturing for 22 years) is that it pushed me to find this board. I didn't know crap about types of degrees, majors, distance learning, cleps, dssts, ace, aleks, or much at all about college till I came here and started learning.
I'm still looking for work. I'll take pretty much whatever I can get and I'll be pushing experience on my resume. But in the not so distant future I'll be able to list a BSBA on there as well. I'm sure of that now.

Patrick,
I feel your pain. After 30 years in various area of hardware and software design, with many management positions, I find the lack of degree is killing me. All of a sudden there is no way of getting in the door because some secretary says, "oh, you don't have a degree", and hangs up.
If I pass world pop tomorrow, I will have earned 37 credits in 7 weeks, and be done with my BS finally. I am throwing my hat back in the job ring tomorrow, this time without the degree impedement.
Due to this forum I have now gone school crazy and am negotiating my MBA entrance requirements with Jacksonville State.
Keep up the faith in yourself, and realize that 90% of people in your situation are sitting around waiting for the unemployment office to help them with retraining. Make sure you use your rapid progress as a talking point during your next interview. You may want to start networking on LinkedIn if you haven't already.

Think about it. You did not just stay home and cry in your beer, you have accomplished so much that will certainly be a benefit to you in the future.
You deserve to revel in your accomplishments--and then move on toward bigger and better things.
Thanks for sharing.

Reading the threads here and being inspired by the positive attitudes of the people here has motivated me to work towards something I always wanted for myself. I can't thank you guys, and ladies, enough!

All because you are so smart. Someday, I'll be able to start a thread like this.
