Depends on the college. It's not a nationwide policy. It's a college policy and each has their own policies.

I just found this about Elmwood. They are hoping to get DEAC accreditation in Spring 2025. It is a job posting but it talks a little more about their plans.https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/president-elmwood-institute-at-newuni-inc-3974247442

I applied for this a few days ago and heard back today. As part of the application process, you have to upload a copy of your government-issued ID, in my case my driver’s license. I received this response:

“Thank you for your application to Elmwood! Unfortunately, we are not authorized in the state of XXX so we are unable to process your application.”

So, for people in half of the states, no $900 NA degree for you!
Master of Accountancy (taxation concentration), University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, in progress.
Master of Business Administration (financial planning specialization), University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, in progress.

BA, UMPI.  Accounting major; Business Administration major/Management & Leadership concentration.  Awarded Dec. 2021.

In-person/B&M: BA (history, archaeology)
In-person/B&M: MA (American history)

Sophia: 15 courses (42hrs)

Do they not have this info on their website?

Well this is weird, my state isn't on there and I didn't get this message. My message was that they'd like me to fill out a questionnaire answering six basic "what will this degree do for you" type of things.

Curiouser and curiouser.

Ah, so that's part of why they want an ID with address and not something like a passport. This is holding up my application because we just moved within the same state (one that is in the list, thank goodness). Now I wonder if I can just upload the current license with a note that the address doesn't match because of the recent move, but I can provide one with the upgraded address next week. But if it's taking a few weeks anyway, maybe I'll keep waiting ...
