Southeastern Oklahoma State University Online?
#1
Good evening everyone,
I was wondering if anyone took any classes online through Southeastern Oklahoma State University? The tuition seems very inexpensive compared to other universities. Thanks in advance.

Yes that price is what got my attention when I was searching. They offer a M.Ed in Educational Leadership for principal licensure but I couldn’t find any reviews online on how the courses are structured and overall comments on the school and/or program.

Side question - what’s the main difference between the websites degreeforum vs. degreeinfo? Thanks!

In my experience, degreeforum has much more hand-holding, degree plans, etc., and is more focused on undergrad, while degreeinfo has a broader pool but less depth, less hand-holding, more relaying of experiences and is more focused on graduate degrees.

DegreeInfo also doesn't seem to be as focused on alt credit as we are here. Not that they are against it, but they also don't actively suggest it as much as we do.

TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:

I did my MBA at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

It was a pretty decent program and the professors were very quick to respond to questions. I cannot speak to the M.Ed program but the MBA was pretty much self taught utilizing the course materials professors provide. There are no recorded lectures, live lectures, etc.

In the end, it accomplished for me what I wanted it to accomplish. I'd highly recommend the programs through SOSU.
