Well that's good news! Now if they still require 30 days from mail date and he has not received the packet of exams by Nov 19th they will drop the weight of the midterm. Whoo Hooo. Honestly it depends on the course, but sometimes its best you don't have the midterm:ack: to weigh down your final grade.
