Late Midterm trouble?
#1
Has anyone ever had a problem with scheduling a midterm past the due date? My Proctor received the test today and is on jury duty this week. The earliest she can do is next Thursday which is a week past due. Anyone ever had trouble with TESC about taking the midterm late?

I personally have never been in that situation.

I would suggest contacting the Office of Test Admin. If you send a trouble ticket tonight, just make sure you mark the Severity as CRITICAL.

Since it is after "business hours" I doubt you can catch anyone via the phone. I would send the ticket tonight, and if no answer by tomorrow morning after "opening time", I would call them.

I have always had good luck with using the trouble tickets, and I usually mark mine High, and have a response back in a few hours. Non-urgent request have been answered in less than a day.

Another plus to using the ticket system, the college and you have recorded transcripts of the conversation, and if it anything negative happens, you have proof of what was told to you. Unlike phone conversations that are rarely recorded, and very hard to prove exactly what was stated.

Good Luck in getting this figured out...and good luck on the midterm!

I have had to work around the schedules before and you should have already contacted your mentor to get their take on it. It shouldn't be a problem. If you can't take it the scheduled week (by the Saturday) start making some phone calls. Also, unless you got your proctor form in very late I don't see how it just came in, they are always sent out weeks in advance. My ESO always had them 2-3 weeks out.

Just curious how this resolved for you. I've unexpectedly found myself in a situation where the testing center is closed and won't open until ten days past my exam date. Yet, because the K-12 and the large state university open this week I incorrectly assumed they would as well.
