Absolutely! I am planning to re-take microeconomics via Straighterline because my grade the first time around was lousy. That class had been taught in a huge lecture hall, by a professor with an incomprehensible accent, with no chance of student interaction.

Ironically, that was at the University of Pennsylvania. :p

Several of my friends have Ph.Ds or MS/MA/MBAs, and all of them are supportive of my pursuit of the BS via this non-traditional method (as is my MS-degreed boss and our doctoral-candidate CEO).

Just remember, Bill Gates did not have the patience for attending a B&M school. He dropped out because he had other stuff to do.
