I took US History I a few months ago, but I used an REA book... I hadn't discovered IC yet. I took that class at college last year and had to CLEP it because it won't transfer. Anyway, I was very familar with the subject matter, so I didn't study very much.
Maybe someone else who has studied for this test with IC can provide a better answer?
I dont know about History I, but I took History II and would DEFINITELY reccomend using the REA book in addition to IC. It fills in a lot of information that is crucial to passing the test. Definitely use IC also, though. The 2 resources together are for sure enough to get you a fantastic score! Good Luck!
