First of all MAGA is only about 33% of the Republican Party.

According to this poll, MAGA supporters now make up 52%—a majority—of Republicans, up from 37% in 2023.

I am skeptical of these results as I know a lot of people who voted for Trump and only a handful who consider themselves MAGA. Even if this poll is true that leaves 10's of millions of Republicans who support Ukraine.

Russia Starts Drafting Ukrainians From Occupied Territorie Nearly three years into the war in Ukraine, Vladimir Putin has "ground down" his military's Soviet-era stockpiles of equipment, analysis by an independent Russian publication has found.

Russia has already depleted more than half of its available military equipment, and if it continues to lose its military hardware at the same pace, Moscow will lack the tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery needed to sustain its current combat intensity. [...]

Russia has lost 11,600 armored vehicles, including 2,600 destroyed tanks, 1,900 destroyed armored personnel carriers (APCs), and 4,100 infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), while Ukraine has lost 700 tanks, 800 APCs, and 900 IFVs.

Around half of Russia's equipment has come from its Soviet-era stockpiles, which are gradually being depleted, and the remaining equipment in storage are mainly in poor condition, and are unlikely able to be sent to the front lines in Ukraine...

The Russian military is seeing an influx of older contract soldiers who are largely seen as detrimental to its war effort in Ukraine, the investigative news outlet Vyorstka reported Wednesday, citing anonymous military and parliamentary sources.

Volunteer fighters aged 45 and over now make up half of new recruits in Moscow, a senior Mayor’s Office source was cited as saying. The average age of recruits has risen from 40 at the start of the year to about 50, said another Moscow Mayor’s Office source.

“They’re all sick,” a Russian soldier fighting in Ukraine was quoted as saying of these troops. “Their legs hurt, their heads hurt, and they’re slow.”
