This is true, although it does appear that UMPI is currently interpreting the residency requirement policy as once per student, not once per degree. I would personally interpret it as once per degree, so I wouldn't be surprised if their interpretation changes in the future. However, for now this is a huge advantage to anyone who wants to complete more than one degree at UMPI. It could even open up more possibilities for degrees that are not available through YP. For example, is it possible to earn the Computer Science degree today by transferring in all the courses??
