It's your decision. I used to think in similar ways. It's true that some Western employers may occasionally discriminate against holders of degrees from this country. However, an accredited Indian university is a totally legitimate choice for individuals looking for more affordable degrees abroad. Of course, you've got to be extra careful, especially with things like licensing based on an Indian degree and so on. But if you do proper research and know what this foreign education entails, it may be the right choice. As for unaccredited Indian scam schools, you should absolutely avoid them. Amity does not fall under this category though.
