I would never get any degree from a school in India.

It's your decision. I used to think in similar ways. It's true that some Western employers may occasionally discriminate against holders of degrees from this country. However, an accredited Indian university is a totally legitimate choice for individuals looking for more affordable degrees abroad. Of course, you've got to be extra careful, especially with things like licensing based on an Indian degree and so on. But if you do proper research and know what this foreign education entails, it may be the right choice. As for unaccredited Indian scam schools, you should absolutely avoid them. Amity does not fall under this category though.

There are SO many cheap online MBAs/IT degrees in the US, that there really isn't a need. At some point, a person is splitting hairs with cost. Sure, you saved a few pennies and now you get to explain to everyone WHY you went to a school in India versus one of the thousands of colleges in the US...
