Department of Education gone?

I don't know about anyone else, but this Ares poster is always rather nasty in response to things that they seemingly don't personally agree with. I feel like discourse should be less about randomly throwing in name-calling and off-handed insults and more about providing solid information on their opinions.

I don't really know how else to address this without PMing a mod, but i don't want to be the minority voice here and think i'm the majority.

Report any posts that violate forum rules. Ideally, we try to keep the forum a friendly and helpful place.

It's not easy to keep this thread on topic without it devolving into Trump trolling, Elon trolling, or personal attacks.

Trying to get everyone to agree on $500 billion worth of cuts to the federal government is, to say the least, a monumental challenge.

However, there are some areas where both sides might find common ground, such as:

1. Making some defense cuts.
   
   
2. Reducing fraud, improper payments, and improving auditing oversight.
   
   
3. Using technology to increase efficiency.
   
   

I would reassure people not to worry because Americans always do the right thing.
