Update on My Journey to UMPI BAS and MAOL

Hey fellow Hackers!

Curious if anyone knows the time from acceptance of transfer credit evaluation email to actual receipt of evaluation? I submitted my approval Sept 2 2024 and still have not had anything in return. 


Also if anyone could give me some tips on what to do next that would be great towards a degree of choosing. I am awaiting conferral of the BOG from Pierpont December 13th. Attached is my plan however I plan not to take any courses at study.com and maybe just double minor instead.

It will take several weeks. Which term have you applied for? That will determine how soon you can expect a response. Also don't forget to check MaineStreet. That's where you'll probably see it first.

Also you can't be accepted into the BAS without having a conferred AAS in a technical field. That may hold up your application.

I did apply for fall starting late october. When I talked to Nikki Enlow she said After i received my BOG AAS they can change it over to BAS

Basically, did you apply for the UMPI BLS?  If so, you just need them to evaluate the transcripts to get started... You should start after your BOG AAS has been confirmed.  You can start earlier if you want to spend a second session due to time constraints, but I would start after conferral...

BJ hey! Yes I did apply for the BLS after speaking to Nikki Enlow and stating I would like the BAS she said I can go ahead and start now and upon conferral of the BOG they would be able to update my path. The only thing I am concerned of right now is that I would like to know what classes I should be ready to jump into. I want to knock it out as fast as I can as I will have time recouping from a shoulder surgery and the time to do so.
