I agree that the head of the Secret Service needs to be fired, as it looks like the people on the ground lacked resources and were put in a position to fail.

Some Common Questions I'm Hearing:

1. How was the shooter allowed to go on the roof? Aerial surveillance?
   
   
2. Why didn't the police/Secret Service respond quicker to reports of an armed gunman on the roof?
   
   
3. Why didn't they take the shot quicker? 
   
   
4. Why was Trump left on the stage when they knew a guy was on the roof?
   

There are lessons to be learned from failure, and security needs to be beefed up for everyone, including the president, prominent political figures such as Nancy Pelosi, and Supreme Court members.

There is reckless political rhetoric on both sides. However, the right's argument would be, "Who's in the hospital?" Who is on the receiving end of almost all the political violence?

As I have heard, Trump is rewriting his RNC speech to tone down the political rhetoric and unite the country.

Hopefully the rest of this election cycle will be a more normal one.
