Illinois is one of the half dozen or so states with very specific, detailed, rigid requirements for the accounting and business course content of your 150 hours for eventual CPA licensure. Check with the IL accountancy board website about this, and then either (a) choose the school that let’s you hit those requirements, or (b) choose a state with an easier educational requirement and no residency requirement.
