It's almost certainly not the only one, but it's the most obvious one. Most of the other courses where WGU pays for the cert do also have equivalencies that can be transferred in, but they may be RA courses or other certs.
Another thing to note is that sometimes people take the Sophia course, but they also want to take Project+. In that case, you can ask to have the Sophia PM course transfer removed from your transcript so you can take that course at WGU instead.
That depends on what's meant by "optional." If you enroll in the program without having met the transfer requirements for this course, it's not optional at all and you have to earn the cert in order to pass the class.
Truly "optional" IT certs at WGU are those where after you pass the course (usually via OA), you still have the option of requesting a cert exam voucher. One example is the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from ISC2 in the cybersecurity program.
If what you mean by "optional" is that you can skip it via Sophia or SDC, then yeah I don't think any of the other ones in the BSIT program are like that.
