I would recommend it over Auburn with the caveat that I don't have much experience with Auburn or Auburn alumni. I've only had one as a teammate, but she was a j-school major. (But I did get to work with Bo Jackson on a video once!).
For what it's worth, I've lived/worked in Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi but never Georgia, so you may have more insight into what schools carry more weight in your specific area. (I.e. I'd never even heard of The Citadel until like two months ago. I've never once heard anyone talk about it this side of Georgia - but clearly it's well known in your neck of the South.)
I think I will apply to Ole Miss. The only issue with them honestly is they offer ZERO scholarships to their online MBA students. Most other schools have some amount of funding you can win/earn. The Citadel was well known to me, probably because I grew up in North Carolina. I also grew up in the time frame when The Citadel was catching a lot of flak for condoning the hazing of new cadets, etc.
