I have not completed any prior degree but I have a decent amount of credits I was wondering in reference to This degree plan on the wiki as I have a lot of semi-unrelated credits and electives including Coursera certs. Would these count toward the extra 30 Cr needed to sit for the CPA. Basically, I am asking does the additional 30cr hours toward the 150cr have to actually be applied to a major or minor or can they just be sitting on the transcript? I already verified that I will meet the ACC-specific and gen BUS cr requirements to sit. Another question i have is if Calc 1 on Sophia will fulfil the bus math requirement. Also will Sophia Critical thinking class cover the 2D requirement on the degree plan?
According to UMPI's DB, Critical Thinking fulfills 2A,B,4C,5D (basically same as Ethics)
Noting fulfills 2D from Sophia.
You could double major in UMPI to get your accounting and business courses. (take 60 credits at UMPI)
