Do the BA in Accounting, you'll be much better off with that. While you wait for your BLS/Edu to be conferred, you're going to want to get alt-credit, because this major is VERY long - 81cr. So, go to Sophia and do everything you can there, and then go to SDC and finish there.
Sophia
Intro to Business
Macroeconomics
Microeconomics
Business Communication
SDC
ACC 101: Financial Accounting
ACC 102: Managerial Accounting (this won't count, but will make further courses easier)
ACC 201: Intermediate Accounting I
ACC 202: Intermediate Accounting II
ACC 301: Applied Managerial Accounting
ACC 302: Advanced Accounting
This leaves you with 18 courses to complete at UMPI. Optional, but recommended if you want to spend less time at UMPI:
BUS 312: Advanced Operations Management
BUS 310: Advanced Business Ethics
BUS 303: Management Information Systems
BUS 313: Organizational Communication
This still leaves you with 14 courses to complete at UMPI, but that's better than any other option I think.
If you have time, I'd prob also take a Computers course if you haven't already, and maybe Business 348: Cost Accounting since that's super relative to a lot of what you might do in accounting as a career. Maybe a Finance course. Brush up on Excel if you don't have experience with it.
