I totally understand the 'bad for employment' complaint but let's be honest folks, most of us are here for the degree and not necessary a "job." TESC did not help me get a job, nor did WGU, but I'm proud of my degrees and email signature.I would have thought just the opposite. Most I would suspect are hoping their educational journeys whether from TESU , WGU or wherever will lead to jobs or career advancement
With that said, I will keep everyone posted to my progress and experience. I will say the enrollment process for a phd program was WAAAAYYY too easy. All they wanted was my WGU transcripts. Courses seem to be straightforward.
Regarding religion, I have a friend at Faulkner and they're also encouraged to use biblical references/religion.
The lawsuits are unfortunate, especially the assault allegations, but a large number of prominent universities have similar issues (Michigan, Penn, etc)
That was also my initial thought when this journey began over a decade ago, I've found this route to be GREAT for those advancing careers at the same company, not so great for find employment elsewhere. I'm sure there are exceptions, but these are atypical.
