So, they activated my "right to study" (enrollment) pretty much first thing on Monday morning. If you have a HAKA login from XAMK, you apparently don't even have to do the ID verification thing. They send you the link, you log in. Done.
IT Services Sales & Marketing - This is in the standard Moodle environment. Their Moodle is a bit different than XAMK's Moodle/other schools' Moodles (slightly more customized?), but it is still just Moodle. The course content is very much like many XAMK courses: read the provided PDFs or academic articles, take the exam(s). For this course, there are assignments listed, but the assignment is "read the lesson contents, use the discussion forum if desired". I think the exam is pass/fail.
The other courses I signed up for are actually hosted on https://edugametion.fi/ Technically, I think you can sign up without going through the Metropolia site, but I wouldn't do that if you actually want credit. Go through the Metropolia site and wait for them to send you the activation email. These are NOT Moodle (maybe a heavily, heavily modified Moodle? but I don't think so). I'm not sure what they are. Perhaps shocking nobody, the pages are all very gamified-looking. "Game Business" has you creating a business plan. There is a LOT of reading for this one. Perhaps even more reading than the IT Services Sales & Marketing.
I like what I see so far. I will be signing up for more Metropolia classes once I'm done with these.
