I'm guessing you could enroll in the Exceltrack BSIT degree, but just take the courses you need for the AAS, and then do a single term at the end with the capstone as a standalone course.

That leaves 25cr to take at PurdueGlobal:
- CS212: Communicating Professionalism
- IT133: MS Office Applications on Demand
- IT273: Networking Concepts
- IT234: Database Concepts
- IT296: IT Internship OR IT299: IT Capstone

So if you could do the first 4 courses in 1 term at PurdueGlobal for $2500, and then take the capstone for $1855, you'd be in for $4355.  A bit pricy for an AAS, but not terrible.

The only thing I don't know is whether they allow you to choose your courses (my daughter is in a regular program there, and they let her take whatever she wants in whatever order).  But if you can, then it's an easy degree to get.

In ExcelTrack, you can't take courses outside of your degree program. Every course isn't offered every session either. Your advisor has to approve your courses as well. Some courses have to be taken in a specific order. ExcelTrack is different than the semester/session based program.

Those 4 courses are all required for the BSIT degree.

CS212 has been removed from some ExcelTrack degrees. The Internship or Capstone cannot be taken in ExcelTrack. They may not be able to these courses and no others in ExcelTrack as the advisors have say in your courses. And like I said before, every course is not offered every session. You can wait 2 sessions for a course to become available.

That's why I said that they should check to see first.

And I also said that the Capstone would be a standalone course after the Exceltrack was completed.
