You have to wait out your term if you want to start a second program, but not to graduate and get the diploma. That’s done every day once your final course shows as passed, and you then formally apply for graduation.
Really? Because I am pretty sure that a couple of WGU students here wanted to continue on to a grad school at a specific time, but they weren't able to do so because the term didn't end for another month or two.
Going to another program is the problem, thanks to Federal financial aid rules. Not getting transcripts and a diploma for the one you finished.
I did both degrees in a single term each. Both diplomas were in hand, with graduation dates on them, before formal end of the term.
