Study.com Math - College Algebra & Statistics
#1
Going through it right now, and there is a LOT of information to take in.

Do you have to memorize equations?

Thank you.

Just curious, are you taking all Study.com options first before you work on your Sophia.org? Sophia.org has Statistics as well if you're really having issues with Study.com... I would review/study all the chapters again, do their chapter practice exams, and prepare for the final. The quizzes are worth 33.3% of the grade, the final is worth 66.6% of the grade. If you're doing well with the quizzes, you should be fine with the final. You need a 70+ to get the ACE credit.

I just signed up for Sophia on a trial. I wanted to see if I could continue with Study.com as I have done 24 other courses with them.

I havent done math for years and when I did I had terrible teachers, so statistics, algebra and business statistics are the only courses that are holding me back.

Im having to be disciplined because I know I will never use statistics or algebra in my job as I already own two of my own companies.

Hey guys

I got so overwhelmed with the amount I had to learn on the statistics course I thought, screw it, ill sit the exam. I knew there were things I didn't know, but I figured I would still do well enough to pass, which I did.

Basically, It was way easier than the course material.

So, two more courses to go and I transfer into WGU, and off I go!

Great job in getting that Statistics class done, now we're down to the final two before you start at WGU...

Well...I thought that I would go for it and sat the exam. Passed it with 67% on the exam plus 99 on the quizzes.

Don't be scared of it. The practice exams are much harder than the exam.

Hey guys. College algebra is the last credit I must pass on study.com before transferring to WGU. I haven't done it for 35 years! I am slogging through it now. Would you recommend doing Sophia over study.com or doing it at WGU? Has anyone sat the Study.com exam? It is such a lot to remember, I feel like I will never remember all of the rules. I am over half way through study.com. Should I just go to Sophia or WGU?

I passed Statistics 101 and Business Statistics with no problem, which surprised me as math is not my strong suit.

Let me know your thoughts.
