I was not implying that anyone should continue on with outside work while doing the UMPI courses; I was simply saying that if you wanted to spend some time studying and getting up to speed on vocabulary and concepts in Project Management, and you have the time to do so, to go ahead and do that PRIOR to your first course.
Once the term at UMPI starts, of course you should drop everything else and get going on the UMPI classes as that takes priority over everything else.
