Cheap(ish) MS Office licenses

Isn’t Office 2021 subscription only?  I was of the impression that the last full, non-expiring license for Office was 2016. 

I did hear they were going to offer a new permanent license… is this it?  

I found a permanent Office 2016 license for about $60. That was about 8 months ago. I found it was a pain to use the Grammarly plug in with the TESU free office because the TESU IT admin had disabled plug-ins for Office. .
