It's a common misconception, but despite the last letter of the acronym of its name, CHEA is not an accreditor. CHEA is an organization that supports accreditation and its principles, and their approval has become very important in the United States.
BPPE is a state approval organization. Some states do accredit schools, like New York State's Board of Regents which accredits 12 or so schools, but in the case of BPPE and CCU this is only an approval relationship, no accreditation is being done on CCU by the BPPE.
Everything listed under "Other Professional and Academic Affiliations and Listings" is not the institutional accreditation that is most necessary and relevant to our concerns like the DEAC which is an institutional accreditor.
