How's this courses different than Sophia's Introduction to Information Technology course?

Sophia's course is extremely basic and just gives a survey level of info for non IT people. The WGU micro bach is 3 intro courses from WGU and is designed for IT majors to get their baseline knowledge before tackling the Comptia A+, N+ and S+ certs. I don't envision it being a good investment for anyone unless they get a significant discount. If you transfer to WGU, it's worth 10 CU, but if you transfer it to TESU, it's only 3, which would make the $900 rather pricey. I audited it a while back for fun and the finals were actually pretty challenging(includes a lot of specific technical questions). I didn't read any of their specific course materials first and didn't pass their practice final. I did easily pass the Sophia IT course in about a day, though. These were both right after I passed my A+ cert.

I've done Sophia's course and it was very basic. I was just wondering what the difference was because the price difference is HUGE. If it's only 3 credits then it's probably not worth the price difference, but for 10 cu at WGU it's probably worth it.
