I actually meant would COSC accept the courses ART HISTORY 2 and US HISTORY 2 without ever taking the ART HISTORY 1 and US HISTORY 1 courses. I am currently taking US HISTORY 2 and would hate to see it disqualified because I didn't take the prior class.
These both cover different time periods, they don't build on the 1st course in the series. So there won't be a problem.
Also, with something like math, you can jump in wherever you want - you aren't required to take every math course prior to Calculus for example - if you can pass the course, they'll give you credit.
Some degrees want you to take a series of courses (take TESU's BSIT which wants Chem I & II or Physics I & II). Then, it's just a requirement for the degree, and they want both, but if you were to take Physics II at a school, and you weren't getting that particular degree, they wouldn't care, they'd take it, as will COSC.
