It has to do with the fact that most topics that you deal with in Ethics has a side that is either Utilitarian or based in Cultural Realitivism which share a lot of common ground with Liberals and Socialism. In my opinion, these are often presented as the "more correct" opinion in colleges today because they are more politically correct and are not Ego based. I would imagine it was not the writer of the flashcards so much as the way the material is presented on the test itself and in classrooms today.
