So, I am studying the Ethics flashcards and far-be-it for me to be critical of the writer of the flashcards, but it appears that there is a significant liberal slant to a lot of the wording in the flashcards...

I don't want to start a political war...just curious if anyone had the same observation???

i think all of the tests have a bit of a liberal slant, i think the study guides reflect it.

Perhaps I am being a bit over sensitive...Ethics is one of those touchy subjects

It has to do with the fact that most topics that you deal with in Ethics has a side that is either Utilitarian or based in Cultural Realitivism which share a lot of common ground with Liberals and Socialism. In my opinion, these are often presented as the "more correct" opinion in colleges today because they are more politically correct and are not Ego based. I would imagine it was not the writer of the flashcards so much as the way the material is presented on the test itself and in classrooms today.

I prefer Epicurius myself.
