there are two courses you must take : the cornerstone and the capstone
that's a total of 6 credits (3 cap + 3 corner)
each credit is 509 for a total of 3054
but you can get a study.com discount where each credit is 379 for a total of 2274
but then you still have to take 114 credits for the degree
you can test out of some using CLEP, DSST, Excelsior exams and study.com (these will be around $100 per 3 credits -- each exam is usually 3 credits and each exam is about $100)
but some things don't have exams -- like if they make you take "History of Mathematics" -- pretty sure there is no exam for that anywhere -- so you'd have to do a course at TESU or a community college or somewhere and transfer it on
so the totals that lacussucceed posted were the totals not including the 114 credits
the totals only included the base fees, the corner stone and capstone and "normal" fees
