There is a list of courses with placement tests on Study.com (I can't look up the link right now since I don't have a current subscription), but even for courses that don't have a placement test, you can still use the practice final exam and/or the chapter tests for the same effective purpose as the placement tests. They both check off subjects in the quizzes that are related to the questions, which can help you move through them more quickly.
Though in both cases, if you are using them to get through quizzes quickly, don't guess on the questions, otherwise, if you happen to guess correctly, you're only hurting yourself by creating gaps in your knowledge that won't be reinforced through the coursework.
Can you clarify what you mean by using the practice exams as placement tests, as this did not seem to check off any quizzes as completed.
