study.com tips for passing quickly?

For TESU, what would the Library Science 101 qualify as? Natural Science/General Electives or Electives?

I'm not sure if this is a good strategy or not. But since I'm doing a bunch of related courses, I'm doing all of the quizzes first. I currently have six courses with all the quizzes done. Only two of those six have finals done and of the five that require projects, zero of them are done. So now I'm working on all the finals. Then I plan on working on all the essays/projects one at a time. I'm not sure if it is a good strategy, but it is working for me so far.

The only reason this worked is that a couple weeks ago I was on a road trip with significant traffic, car troubles and delays. I wasn't the one driving and so I was spending hours a day on study.com doing quizzes. The courses all had significant overlap too, so that helped.

Definitely to get through courses quickly pick something you are knowledgeable in. The more you know about the subject the easier and quicker it will be. For example, history buff could get through a history course in a day. But for me, it would be much more difficult.

It counts as either the information Literacy requirement or a gen ed elective or a free elective depending on what you have open. It is not a natural science course.

It counts as meeting the Info Lit requirement, or else GE Electives.

It is not a natural science.

Our other post for HLS was the same too!  Or at least written at the same time.

If it wasn't already said, do courses (that you have prior knowledge in) that allow you to take a placement test to skip a lot of quizzes. Saves a lot of time. I'm not sure how to find those courses. It might show at the top of the course page before you enroll, or maybe only after you enroll?

There is a list of courses with placement tests on Study.com (I can't look up the link right now since I don't have a current subscription), but even for courses that don't have a placement test, you can still use the practice final exam and/or the chapter tests for the same effective purpose as the placement tests. They both check off subjects in the quizzes that are related to the questions, which can help you move through them more quickly.

Though in both cases, if you are using them to get through quizzes quickly, don't guess on the questions, otherwise, if you happen to guess correctly, you're only hurting yourself by creating gaps in your knowledge that won't be reinforced through the coursework.

I would love to build a sequence list for some of these - but I haven't figured out how without actually completing a class.

My son's social psychology class is complete, so I can look up the other psych courses to find how much is done, but there are too many variables to figure this out - at least I can't figure it out. Anyone here figured out how to guesstimate the % gains in a class before taking another class?

I tried this and it did not count towards quiz progression (scored between 80-90)

Can you clarify what you mean by using the practice exams as placement tests, as this did not seem to check off any quizzes as completed.

Thanks

My daughter is starting 6th grade this year, and I've decided to switch her over from Accelus to SDC's homeschool curriculum.  I've noticed that while I'm logged in as myself, there is a lot of overlap at even the 6th grade level.  Suffice to say, by the time she gets through middle school, she should have quite a head start on doing the college credit classes for high school.
