I think I saw some kind of option to verify a certificate on the ACT website. Checking on ACE, if you took the exam between June 2012 and March 2016, the credit recommendations are different:
Credit is awarded based on the examinees level of achievement: bronze performance - no credit; silver performance - in the vocational certificate category 3 semester hours in applied critical thinking; gold performance - in the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category 3 semester hours in applied critical thinking; and platinum performance - in the lower-division baccalaureate/associate degree category 3 semester hours in applied critical thinking (6/12).
