My understanding is that there is nothing formal about the "partnership" with Berkeley. There's certainly no page on Berkeley's website saying that they will transfer University of the People credits or block transfer an associate's, just on the UotP website saying that "high performing" students will be considered. Whatever that means. Also, at least for US students, UotP is only a little cheaper than an RA bachelor's degree from one of the Big3 done with the methods discussed here.
