Well then, this is ridiculous. Go ahead and start heading up the chain immediately. Call, ask for the name and job title of the first person you see, tell them you're writing everything down, there has been a major breakthrough in communication and you're going as high up as you need to go to get this done NOW!
Then, write it all down. Take names. Tell them you are writing their names, and if you need to take it to the president of the college, you will. Ask them to spell their name. Keep a notebook with the info. Everything you discuss with each person. Great, thanks for that information, now please transfer me to your direct supervisor. Keep doing that every time you talk to someone.
