It's not that I have zero interest in the topic, it's just not convenient to learn "all about" "right now" - I just need my credits to get my loan to pay my bills. >_<
I was considering the free clep prep study guides for marketing and management - how long is the audio version of the guide? How long does it take to go thru vs the 25-30hrs it sounds like the other thing takes?
I am the kind of learner that needs a bigger picture before I'm able to cram a bunch of dry terms and topics. For me, Modern States made the picture a lot more solid, preparing me to be far better equipped for the test. You probably only need the Quick Prep Study Sheets, and if you spend a good amount of time and know the concepts well you should at least score in the low 50's. However, Modern States makes your tests free and gives you a pretty good understanding of the information you'll need to take. The ROI (return on investment) is high, and I think coupled with 2-3 hours with the quick prep study sheets you'd be pretty set to go.
If you had to do one or the other, though, I would go the quick prep route. You're losing out on quite a bit, but a time crunch is a time crunch.
Also, overlap is good. If you just do the Quick Prep Sheets, at least Youtube and Google some of the concepts for a broader understanding and an easier time connecting the dots.
