So basically it sounds like the Modern States thing is a total win... no reason not to (makes the CLEP free), you just have to finish the course... does finish the course mean watch all videos or how does it work? (does no good to start and not finish in time to get the free CLEP voucher I mean) I mean how do they track/verify you finished it...
Any suggestions from people who might be familiar with both what is the least time intensive option?
1) Take Modern States course AND get the free clep prep thing to remind right before the course (still curious how long that is, ie their audio mp3)
2) Take JUST Modern States training by itself
3) Take JUST the free clep prep course (which isnt free) by itself if just passing is more important than even getting the course free (if i get squished for time)
Am I likely to need to go thru the Modern States video seminar things more than once or should one go through taking notes be enough?
Is there any way to download the video footage (ie to study offline, ie on my phone during a break at work since i have no wifi or cell service/I work in a concrete basement level with no signal) or is it online only? Like is it something hosted on youtube I could use a downloader for instance...
To the other questions, i'm not sure, but I guess i'll just try taking some other questions in the InstantCert and see whether I seem like i'm passing or not. The problem with the english 101 replacement is that I already took it and failed (years prior, due to medical illness, and never was withdrawn properly so it was just an F instead) and so I cant get CLEP credit of a college class I took and failed they say... so that's the only test totally off the option menu.
