Eastern Michigan University already has many online programs and an extended campus, so I don't see how anyone can say that the faculty is objecting to online programs. They already have them. The objection is clearly to having a for-profit company take over their online programs and take half of the profits. To be honest, for-profit companies don't have the best track record in the higher education realm.
