A better question is this: What materials did you use? Did you use the course through WGU, the OCG / Sybex guides , and/or something else?
it's not going to make you a linux sysadmin by any means, but it covers a mix of some good-to-know basics you'd want for regular linux use and some advanced but obscure stuff that's not really necessary to know off the top of your head because any user or admin would just look it up as needed. I haven't looked at the 2nd exam stuff yet but it's probably more of the same. It's like most certs... it's a good foundation but doesn't mean much without real world experience to back it up.
