Hi guys,
So I decided to finally commit to getting my bachelors degree. I am a Financial Advisor at a broker dealer where I started as an assistant in 2003. Through hard work, and some luck, I have been able to flourish at my current employer without a degree. However, the industry is changing and some institutions are more attractive than others. I have always been hesitant to move due to the lack of a college degree. So I've been reading as much as I can in this invaluable forum and so far have completed some course. My math is ok and I am an avid reader and am interested in history. Find below what I have completed and planning to complete soon. I would greatly appreciate and suggestions on how to complete as many credit as possible in the shortest amount of time. I am assuming I should start with the General Education requirements and go from there. I prefer non proctored online courses/exams since I can study some at the office (no camera). CLEP's also convenient since I have a testing center a block away. I will probably apply to TESU in December and transfer all credits earned by then just so stick to it. Will probably take a couple of TESU TECEP's to keep my status current. Any TECEP suggestions?
Progress so far:
The Institutes: Ethics Insurance. Completed 10/15/16
Teex: Cyber Security 101, 201, and 301. Completed 10/18/16
Aleks: Int. Algebra: Completed 10/20/16. College Algebra: Completed 10/23/16. Statistics: In progress. Precal: Should I take it?
CLEP: Spanish: will take soon (native speaker). I am also considering LTI and the OPI/WPT in Spanish which I saw in another post. What would this translate to credit course wise?
Thanks for all your help.
