My BSBA in CIS was conferred today, and I wouldnât have been able to do it without DegreeForum and the awesome members here. Thank you all for your helpful posts and support!
I initially came to DegreeForum in late 2013 after finding out I could complete some CLEP courses to graduate quicker from my first university. After reading through DegreeForum, I realized I could save a lot of time and money and graduate faster if I transferred to one of the "Big 3". I ended up transferring over a lot of credits from my first university to TESU (known as TESC at the time). I planned out my degree with help from this forum and then started completing courses from various sources. Eventually things just got way too overwhelming and I gave up and stopped after some months.
Every year I came back at least once on DegreeForum just to check back, and see if anything would motivate me to resume college and complete my degree. I finally got the motivation to re-enroll in April this year after seeing a Penn Foster course I had already paid for was not going to be accepted as a transfer for the capstone requirement and also due to not having a job either. The past months have been very busy, with me working right until the deadline to finish my final courses/exams for September graduation, and I'm glad to finally be done.
