Just taking the tests in a testing center is going to save you half a day of quiz taking alone.

Unless you are far away from a proctor center (I'm 45 minutes away plus parking, and time spent walking partially across a large campus), or they have inconvenient times that are hard for you to make (mine are M-F 10am and 2pm, and I homeschooled my kids until recently, so that was not a good plan for me), or they charge an inordinate amount for the fees (yes, some places charge $50 or $100 per exam!).

My being able to test at home saves me quite a bit of time and effort. I will always choose that option if possible.

For those who don't like Study.com's setup, there are usually other options besides CLEP/DSST's.
