I think I saw that students have free access to Lynda.com through my university (Texas State University) a while back, but I didn't look into signing up because their courses aren't worth any credits. Recently, I decided to check the website out, and I think it's a great resource for learning new skills and preparing for certification tests. One might even be able to use it to prepare for CBEs or supplement ACE/NCCRS courses. I tried Coursera and edX courses, but could never finish all the videos before the course closed. With Lynda.com, I can watch videos at my own pace. They have video courses for music, business, graphic design, general office skills, CAD, education/elearning, photography, IT, and video.
