The key with SL, at least in the past, was to have the ebook so you can search quickly. You did not need to watch the videos or do the practice questions as they were irrelevant for test. However, as bamafan stated, it really does depend on the person and their strengths. I hate tests with a passion and avoided them like the plague if possible. I found it easier and quicker, for me, to take a class than study for a test.
