At a brick wall
#12
FAFSA is simply an application for financial aid. As I clearly stated in my previous post, it simply figures out your EFC. Your EFC is used to figure out how much financial aid you qualify for. If you have little to no income, the chances of you not qualifying for financial aid are very slim. So, instead of making the assumption that the OP was "denied," I wanted to clarify some things because it is possible that the OP DOES qualify for financial aid. The OP has gotten confused on previous topics concerning her career path. If it turns out that the OP does qualify for financial aid, my comments will be more helpful than providing solutions to a problem that doesn't really exist.

Even though I wasn't implying anything about the OP's situation, things that can bar you from receiving financial aid are often things one should consider before receiving training or education for an occupation. Things like tax problems and criminal histories will keep people out of many types of jobs. If you don't like my comments, then don't read them.
Here's an example of people being denied financial aid because they filled out the FAFSA form incorrectly, not because they didn't really qualify for financial aid.

Another common mistake is that people see a high EFC and assume they don't qualify for financial aid. I had an EFC of a few thousand dollars once, but it didn't mean that I was expected to pay a few thousand in tuition out of pocket. I qualified for enough aid to cover everything.
