Help with Major
#1
Ok, so I have posted a few times in the other thread about TESC and Columbia College, but I'm trying to decide about a major. Basically, jobs that I will eventually want to apply for have this description.

Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: For the GS-5 level, a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the experience requirements. At the GS-7 level, one full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement. At the GS-9 level, a masters or equivalent graduate degree or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree may be substituted. At the GS-11 level, a Ph.D. or equivalent, or 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.

Undergraduate or Graduate Education: Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the
development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.

I basically have about 78 credits mainly business degree related. Does anyone know any brick and mortar schools that offer online degrees in these areas. I know university of Memphis has an MIS degree, but I need to finish an Associate to get in. I basically have a terrible GPA from my time at the University of Mississippi. I will be using my GI bill so hopefully I can get in-state tuition where I apply. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Not that I will not consider TESC, WGU, or somewhere else, but I just have a feeling I need a degree from a name University. Not that it would really matter, however it might in the long run.
