If I don't take the TECEP for English Composition is there a way to take enough TECEPS somewhere else to get enough to count as a New Jersey resident? My ultimate goal is a Bachelors. Could I fill in the TECEPS in the Bachelors and take the CLEP English Composition?
The exam is now called CLEP College Composition. You must do that exam with the mandatory essays for TESC to accept it. They will not accept College Composition Modular.
There are plenty of TECEPs that you can use, just reference the links in this thread. For example, you already stated you didn't want to do Intro to Computers, so you can substitute that with the Introduction to Critical Reasoning TECEP if you like, and then you must find another one that counts as gen ed to fill it out.
You said you wanted your Bachelors, will this be from TESC also? If so, honestly, it may be better to not get the AA at all and just go for the full bachelors degree. It will probably only take a few months more if you CLEP like crazy. The only difference is that the TESC "residency" doubles to 24 TESC credits which includes a mandatory capstone course (except for the BSBA which requires a Strategic Management course). This means that you will need a minimum of 7 TECEP exams and one Capstone course. If you don't want to take that many TECEPs, you can always take the enrolled option, but just know the fee is rather high for that option.
CLEPS Passed: 10 DSST Passed: 11 TECEPS: 1

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.
